Sunnah 24

Alhamdulillah, I'm happy to announce the publication of my new blog Sunnah 24. It's about the customs, practices and characteristics of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (S), i.e. the Sunnahs which are to be followed by humanity for success in this life and the next. I had planned this blog during my exams and have been waiting for them to finish so that I can get to work. Honestly speaking, I never thought I could get this blog up and running in just 3 days. Thanks to Allah, my work on this blog so far seems to be filled with Barkat. I'm glad that I got off to a productive start to my semester break.
The blog has of course just started, and inshallah I'll update the blog frequently. The book I'm using as reference for the Hadiths in this blog is an electronic version, so that makes my job a lot easier. I hope everyone will be privileged by this blog and try to attain the blessed Sunnahs of the Messenger (S) of Allah in everyday life.

    Today I visited your blog after a long while. But it took quite a long time to access your blog. I think the numerous widgets were the reason.

    Anyway... visited your new blog. It is great. You can make a blogger community for this blog, cause I think it is quite a vast project that if there are more people, the more accurate information about Islam is possible to provide. Don't take it other-wise. You should be credited for taking initiatives of such blog!

    Thanks a lot for visiting my new blog and encouraging me in this project. A blogger community is a good idea. But starting a collaborative project is difficult. The active bloggers writing Islamic blogs have their own projects to handle, which are pretty vast projects indeed. I've once tried something like this but failed to get attention.
    Regarding the information on my new blog, I must say that in Sunnah 24, I'm writing nothing by myself, unlike my other Islamic blog. The Hadiths along with their explanations are directly cited from Shamail Tirmidhi, which is one of the most reliable sources of Hadith. Quoting Hadiths is a BIG responsibility, and that's why I'm taking no chances. So Inshallah I can assure you about the authenticity of the information. Thanks a lot for your comments.
    oh, about the slowing up of my blog, I guess it's because of the timeline widget. too bad.

My then room-mate Murad had just come back from a short trip, and he was pretty damn excited. He knew I was a travel and photography buff, so he couldn't wait to show me the shots. He was going through his camera roll on his laptop, and I could see why. Their trip to Gunung Ledang (Mount Ophir) was truly scenic from the moment they hit the roads outside the city. But when finally he showed my the shot of the waterfall, I was stunned. He tried to move the slideshow along but I wouldn't let him. ভান করতে থাকো

Behavioral psychology তে একটা কনসেপ্ট আছে যে, আমাদের শারীরিক আর মানসিক অবস্থা খুব strongly connected. একটা আরেকটা কে affect করে। এটার একটা সাইড খুব সহজেই বোঝা যায়। যেমন কেউ যদি খুশি হয়, তার চেহারায় সেটার প্রতিফলন ঘটে. মুখ হাসি হাসি হয়ে যায়। গলার স্বরেও পরিবর্তন আসে। শরীরে এনার্জি ফীল  করা যায়। আবার মন খারাপ থাকলে, মুখটা গোমড়া থাকে, শরীর দুর্বল লাগে। মেজাজ গরম হলেও তার প্রভাব শরীরে পড়ে। এটা আমরা খুব সহজেই বুঝি।  কিন্তু মজার ব্যাপার হলো, উল্টো দিক থেকেও ব্যাপারটা ঘটে। Body language পরিবর্তন করলে সেটা মনের উপর প্রভাব ফেলে। খুব ইন্টারেষ্টিং কিছু এক্সপেরিমেন্ট এর মাধ্যমে দেখা গেছে এই effect . বিখ্যাত behavioral psychologist Amy Cuddy তার গবেষণায় এরকম কিছু এক্সপেরিমেন্ট করেছেন। তিনি দেখিয়েছেন, একজন মানুষ যদি মাত্র ২ মিনিট কোনো না কোনো 'Power Pose' অর্থাৎ খুব পাওয়ারফুল বা আত্মবিশ্বাসী মানুষের মতো body language নিজের মধ্যে নিয়ে আসে, তাহলে সে আসলেই আত্মবিশ্বাসী হয়ে ওঠে , এবং অন্যরাও তাকে সেরকমই মনে করে!  একইভাবে আরেক পরীক্ষায় দেখা গেছে, খুব নোংরা কোনো কাজ যখন একদল লোককে করতে দেয়া...
