3 Days (Not Nights)

A three day Jamaat went out from our mosque on 13-15 April. Alhamdulillah I joined the work all the three days, although I didn't stay at night. The jamaat went to Masjid e Noor at Malibagh. There's also a Madrasa there. Our Amir for the jamaat was Pinu Bhai. He was really helpful to me all three days ( Pinu bhai if you are reading, Jazakallah). I really enjoyed the time. It must be mentioned that on the third day we went to the Madrasa to talk to the students. It felt really great to be among them, I really felt honored. May Allah give Tawfique to us all to stay on Allah's path.

Monday morning we started later than we wanted to. We were actually pretty damn tired from the extended amount of walking on the previous day. We checked out of the hotel and kept our baggage at Nahiyan's place, and took a public transport known as tempo here in our country, towards Jaflong. On our way to Jaflong we feasted our eyes with the sight of the huge mountains that are visible across the border, over in India. Well, "the mountains are always higher on the other side of the fence", hehe. মন্ত্রমুগ্ধ

দুই ঘন্টা লম্বা তারাবীহ মাত্র শেষ হলো।  তারাবীহের সময়ে মসজিদের ভেতরের লাইটগুলো বন্ধ থাকে, নামাজ শেষ হতেই এক সাথে অনেকগুলো লাইট জ্বলে উঠে, আর সবাই চোখ পিট্ পিট্ করতে করতে মসজিদ থেকে বের হতে থাকে। এই ব্যাপারটা দেখতে আমার কেন জানি খুব মজা লাগে। কিছুক্ষণ বসে থেকে লোকজনের চোখ পিট্ পিট্ দেখি, তারপর নিজেও রওনা দেই।  সেদিন অবশ্য বাসায় না গিয়ে মসজিদের দক্ষিণ পূর্ব কোণাটায় গিয়ে পা ছড়িয়ে বসে পড়লাম। দীর্ঘ নামাজে আজকাল পা ধরে আসে। নামাজ শেষ হলেও সাত আটজন মুসল্লি মসজিদের এই কোণায় জড়ো হয়েছে। একটু পরেই এক ভাই চা নিয়ে আসলো পেপার কাপে। চা খেয়ে চাঙ্গা হয়ে ওরা আবার নফল নামাজে দাঁড়ানোর প্রস্তুতি নিচ্ছে! চা শেষ করে কাতার বানিয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে গেলো তারা। নামাজ পড়াতে সবার সামনে এগিয়ে গেলো একজন। বারো কি তেরো বছরের ছেলে। শুরু করলো তিলাওয়াত।  সে হাফেজ যুবায়ের আবদুল্লাহ।  আমাদের 'যুবুন পাতা'।  ------------------------------------- আমার ভাগনে যুবায়েরের জন্ম আমার গ্র্যাজুয়েশনের ঠিক পর পর। আল্লাহর প্ল্যান অনুযায়ী এর পরে ছয়টা মাস আমি কমপ্লিটলি বেকার! তাই যুবায়েরকে কোলে কাঁখে করার জন্য ওর বাবা মা'র পরে আমি পারফেক

ড: হাসিবের গল্প

এনার্জি কনভার্শন কোর্সের প্রথম ক্লাস আজ। থার্ড সেমিস্টারের ছাত্ররা ক্লাস শুরুর আগে বসে আড্ডা দিচ্ছে। সময়মতোই ক্লাসে ঢুকলেন ড. হাসিব হায়দার স্যার। এই স্যারের ক্লাস আগে করেনি ওরা, তবে নাম শুনেছে বড় ভাইদের কাছে। হাসিব স্যারের ক্লাস নাকি ভার্সিটি লাইফে সবচেয়ে মজার। সেই সাথে স্যার নাকে খুব ফ্রেন্ডলি আর মোটিভেশনাল। স্যারের এই কোর্সের ব্যাপারে সবারই তাই বেশ উৎসাহ।  স্যার রুমে ঢুকেই উজ্জ্বল একটা হাসি দিয়ে বললেন,  ‘কি অবস্থা সবার??’ ‘ভালো স্যার’  ‘অল্প ভালো নাকি বেশি ভালো?’ ‘বেশি ভালো স্যার’  সব ক্লাসেই টিপিকাল একটা ফাজিল থাকে, সেরকমই একটা পেছন থেকে বলে উঠলো  ‘বেশি ভালো নাই স্যার’  ‘কেন?’ ‘সেমিস্টারের প্রথম দিন, আর আপনারা ক্লাস নিতে এসে পড়লেন। একদিন না পড়াইলে কি হইতো?’ হাসির রোল উঠলো ক্লাসে। হাসিব স্যারও হেসে দিলেন তার বিশাল হাসি,  ‘আরে আজকে পড়াবো কেন, পাগল নাকি?’ ‘তাহলে আজকে কি হবে স্যার?’  মনে হয় অনেকটা মন খারাপ করেই জিজ্ঞেস করলো ফার্স্ট বেঞ্চের ভারী ফ্রেমের চশমা পড়া আঁতেল।  ‘তোমাদের সাথে প্রথম ক্লাস। তোমাদের সাথে গল্প করবো। তোমাদের পরিচয় জানবো।’  একে একে হাসিব স্যার সবার পরিচয় নিলেন। বাড়ি কো
